Tuff Rock Backstory

Tuff Rock:

Tuff Rock is Belgian’s cousin. He was known for being on the rebellious side of a higher class family he was from who owned a very successful rock mining business.

Technically, he’s rich. He just doesn’t tell many ponies about it.

He got tired of his family and their strict higher class life, and even ran away from home multiple times. Being that he lived in Canterlot, he was always escorted back by night guards.

In his younger years, he was invited multiple times to go by Belgian’s home in Fillydelphia, and usually loved being there more than his own home. With Belgian’s family being on a mid to lower end class, the change was really nice and refreshing for him.

As he grew up, he was exposed to the rock, punk, and metal scene and grew a deep love of the music. Eventually, he tried out a few instruments until he landed and stayed on the drums. A few years later, he’s playing in small garage bands; their performances ranging from a friend’s garage, to pubs, bars, and taverns.

Unfortunately, his parents found out more about what he was doing, and didn’t like it. So they gave him a choice to either grow up in wealth and drop playing in bands and the drums, or move out.

Knowing that Belgian owned a shop in Ponyville at the time, he chose to move out and take his music with him. Since then, he’s been looking for bands to play with him, with no luck. He slowly started helping out around the restaurant when he needed the income to publicize himself.

After a few years of no luck, they both moved back to Fillydelphia and opened a new and slightly bigger restaurant there. He still looks for bands to play with, but now works at the shop as a full-time employee, cooking during the day and bartending at nights.
